In recent years, Russian tourists have reduced their time in Switzerland. According to the national representation of this country, last year the total number of guests from Russia who visited Switzerland fell by a third. If a year earlier the number of tourists amounted to more than 532 thousand people, then last season turned into a decrease in the number of travelers by 156 thousand people.
Although the share of tourists from our country in previous periods was not significant (1.9-2% of the total mass of guests), local authorities still hope to return Russians to their open spaces. And for this, many operators are ready to invest a lot of money, develop products that will be attractive to guests from Russia - Switzerland Tourism said.
