The main solemn event of the first month of spring, the Russian Charity Ball, is scheduled for March 6 at The Island Shangri-La Hotel. It will take place with the direct support of the Russian Club and the consulate of our country, which operates in Hong Kong. The tradition of holding such events has existed for several years.

The current ball will be held under the name "Ball of the Romanovs". They decided to time the event to coincide with the 125th anniversary of the trip of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II to the countries of the Far East. And all the proceeds, as in the previous year, the organizers decided to donate to the national charitable fund "Vera".

The event is aimed at a specific audience - representatives of the Russian intelligentsia and Russian-speaking businessmen in Hong Kong, whose number is growing every year. According to preliminary estimates, the Island Shangri-La Hotel will host at least 220 guests of honor, including the Chief Consul of Russia in Hong Kong A. Kozlov.

The festive program will include a gala dinner and a charity auction, and cocktails will welcome the guests of the ball. This time it will not do without incendiary dance numbers, performances of acrobats and vocalists. This year the famous pianist A. Borisova and vocalist M. Gromova agreed to take part in the celebration.
